Suhasini Maniratnam (born 15 August 1961) is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada cinema. The first woman graduate of the Madras Film Institute, she debuted with Nenjathai Killathe (1980) and won the Tamil Nadu State Award. She later earned the National Award for Sindhu Bhairavi. Known for classics like Koodevide, Bandhana, Vanaprastham and Suprabhatha, she remains one of South India’s most respected performers.
