Born in 1980 in West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, Raasi (credited as Manthra in Tamil/Malayalam films) is a versatile Indian actress. She began as a child artist in Mamatala Kovella (1989) at age 9. Known for Telugu/Tamil hits like Subhakankshalu (1997), Gokulamlo Seeta (1997), and Pelli Pandiri (1998), she also appeared in Hindi films Rangbaaz, Jodidar, and Suraj (1996–97) with Mithun Chakraborty. Married to director Sri Muni, she later transitioned to TV with Girija Kalyanam (2020) and Janaki Kalaganaledu (2021).
