Tanuja Mukherjee, born in 1943, is a celebrated Indian actress known for her work in Hindi and Bengali cinema. A member of the Mukherjee-Samarth film family, she starred in classics like Haathi Mere Saathi, Jewel Thief, Anubhav, and Bengali hits like Deya Neya. Her popular pairings with Rajesh Khanna and Uttam Kumar made her a beloved star of the ’60s and ’70s.
